Daft Punk's RAM album inspired me a lot (especially, Touch) to make more electronic pieces. I wanted to make a piece just as atmospheric as Touch, although I don't think I hit one on this project. "Polar" also mad me realize that, I could make really nice sounding music on GB, BETTER than most of the stuff on The Stuff.

"The Stuff", I consider, really just me experimenting with what I could do on Garage Band. I think with this album, I felt like I perfected what I could do. Despite having more songs, The Stuff still felt like it fell short. I felt like I needed to redeem myself, and come up with much more well constructed pieces. Im not saying this album perfected my previous one, but I feel like a step forward.

Even so, I still felt held back from what I could really do. For those who have used GB, it's great, but, I was ready to move on. I got lazy on songs like "Spectrum" and "A Day Will Come", and their my least favorite. I just honestly felt like The Stuff was incomplete, and needed a follow-up. I plan on making bigger BETTER electronic pieces as time goes on, but for now, I wanna focus on much more "traditional" music.
